1. Many crewed yachts come with a dedicated captain and crew who are well-acquainted with the yacht’s operations, unlike other yachts where the crew is replaced from charter to charter.
2. To ensure a vacation suited for your needs, you will get to fill out a Preference Sheet in advance, which is a detailed form, providing information on personal preferences like food and liquor choices. It also includes details on any medical conditions or disabilities the crew should be aware of. Additionally, the form allows you to specify special requirements for activities and places you’d like to visit, enabling the crew to create a tailor-made itinerary for your perfect vacation.
3. The payment in advance for the charter will cover everything you may need during your charter to ensure a hassle-free vacation, and the crew will handle all expenses for you during the charter. For that, the payment in advance includes Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) which is used to cover estimated additional costs of yacht preparation, requested supplies, port, mooring and other legal charges and fees, fuel and water, communications, crew gratuities, extras and depends on guest particular request for services, itinerary, food, beverages etc. In case APA is not entirely used at the end of the charter, the remaining part is returned to the client. In case the spending exceeds the APA, guests can be asked to pay the additional part.
